LTC Youth Camp
The other day we went for a summer camp in UCC (United Christian Church, New Jalpaipuri) We were about ten of us. Due to the ongoing college exam some of our youth could not make it. And we will say they have missed a great deal. All together the camp attendance was around 50.

The theme of the camp was “GO FISH” basing on the text Matt. 4:19. It was a very relevant theme for a youth in Christian community. We discussed about the role we can play as a Christian wherever we may go. Basically the discussion and other activities focus on the purpose of our being here in this earth: to be the light in the darkness; to be the salt of the earth n to go fish…so the world will come to know the truth through us.
We were formed into four different units namely:
ADIDAS with the motto: ‘impossible is nothing’.
NIKE: ‘just do it’
NOKIA: ‘Connecting people’
LAYS (potato chips): ‘no one can eat just one’

Every team stood to describe the meaning of their chosen motto Biblically. And it came out to be a big inspiration for all of us. All the teams were competitive and cooperative. We really had a good time learning the word of God through many different activities such as: group discussion, sharing, games, concert, skit, choreography and other competition.
We were also joined by some non Christian brothers and sister and I believe they really have witness the spirit of our young Christian friends.

I thank God for giving us such a wonderful opportunity for the youngster to gather in such a manner in spite of all the attractive events happening around to woo us away from God.
Please continue to pray for our friends (campers) that they all will walk at least one leap ahead from where they were in their spiritual life. Also we are praying that we will come up with this kind of program more often in the days to come.

LTC Centre Church in Lucknow
We started our Center Church on 1st July, 2007 with Deven’s family, 3 single staff and 10 LTC 1st batch students with the blessing of Uncle Peter, Aunty Moala and pastor Themreingam. Today excluding students we have 28 baptized active members in our Center Church. Our church is growing spiritually and numerically.
Since we begin our ministry here in Lucknow in partnership with FBCD. Therefore, we name our Center Church as Bible Sangati Kalisiya Lucknow, which means Fellowship Bible Church Lucknow. Secondly, we also choose this name base on Acts 2: 42-47, because we want to see the kind of church and the kind of fellowship that the early church has.
Lots of activities are being taking place in our Church, apart from Sunday worship service; we have Bible study for 2 hour on 2nd, 3rd and 4th Saturday. Every first Saturday women’s group have fellowship with fasting from 10:00 A.M to 04:00 P.M, we have cottage meeting once in a month in believers house. We also conduct Bible study for new believers in various places. Every Sunday evening we had Sunday school for kids. We do strongly encourage personal evangelism to every believer. Some of the activities are highlighted bellow:
Passion Week Observation:

Bible Sangati Kalisiya, Lucknow observed Passion Week in a very significance way. This year Passion Week theme was “The Road to Jerusalem.” Base on this theme, Deven Pradhan preached a series of challenging sermons. Sunday school kids present a special song and skit commemorating Jesus dead, burial and resurrection. We all are blessed through the preaching and various program.
On Palm Sunday we had a procession with palm leaves and shouting “Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest.” On Good Friday we remember the dead of our Lord Jesus Christ, reflecting the pain and suffering that Our Lord Jesus Christ went through just for our sins. We do celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday. “… Death has been swallowed up in victory. Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting? … But thank be to God. He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1Cor.15: 54-57

Baptism Program:
In Uttar Pradesh baptism is what matter most, we have observed that many people received Jesus Christ but very few are able to take a bold step of following Him by taking baptism. There are various reasons for this, both spiritual and physical, for example no one bother before baptism but the real trials and persecution start after baptism, therefore, people fare that they will be rejected by the family, relative, society and even torture by some Hindu religious group and many more. In spite of all this pre-occupied mindset, thank God for these four people who are willing to pay the price whatever it cost them in following Jesus Christ. They were baptized on 7th March, 2010, we are happy that Tony and Angela could take part on this baptism program. Apostle Paul said; “So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.” Col.2: 6-7. We want to see more people becoming an active follower of Jesus Christ.
